Good day. I am hereditary Chief Kweyulutstun, Thomas Jones is my English name. I am from Gabriola Island, which is a part of the Snunwymuxw First Nation. I have been an artist for most of my life, first drawing local art then later learning to carve wood. I started as a Kwakiutl artist following my father’s history who is from Alert Bay, BC. Later learning the Coast Salish art form following my late mother’s history. This grew from carving to speaking language, acting and theatre.
