Visible Bodies Collective's practice is centered in: Indigenous epistemologies and spirituality (which includes Indigenous from other lands), social and political justice, land-based inquiry and cultural resurgence. This powerful council of BIPOC women gather to revitalize stories and ignite the fire of truths to be embodied. We gather for restoration and nourishment of our spirits; mending past, present and future, weaving traditional and contemporary story, rhythm, and our natural abilities and intuition to orate our experiences as women of color. We unite to explore, discover, connect and communicate through engaging with theatre, dance, movement, and story-telling through our sovereign bodies.
