Hazel Fairbairn is a fiddle, viola, and violin player/sound artist, who works with electronic regenerations and manipulations of acoustic sources and instruments. With roots in Irish Folk music, and a PhD in ethnomusicology, Hazel is endlessly curious about the way sound connects cultures, migrations, and the natural world.
